We are facing a dangerous new world now the most of the news in our community have to deal with violence; lately we had a massacre at Virginia Tech there were 32 casualties, and it's a headlines. in the whole world. violence not only happen in school it also happens anywhere. Life has become more violent and dangerous to all of us especially to children .Television,nowadays has an effect on us especially on children watching these violent movies ,I believe we need an edithand censoredship to all movies befor ewe show to the public all this news ,because kids can grasp and learn all this violence. We need all parents guidance to see that our kids are of what's going on in our surrounding now a days.we need to listen to oue kids if there are problem, even in school and get a counseling right away. our immigration will be sendinga new guidelines especially to those foreign students studying in the United States. I like Chico because of its atmoshere,the new Plaza which was was vandalize by some young kids and that the police at night check on your NIC and if any weapon or drugs inside which make me feel safe. but I heard young kids naoa days could also bring weapons. Another ,incident the video games which plays an important roleto our society , student like to go computer lab to play video games as I have observe and I guess the parents should not spoil or buy high tech games let them study and earn foe a living If you know someone,a friend or a classmates who might need help don't ignore or hesitate to help them before its too late.I know a lot of students have family problem here like divorce parents and separated one..

Life has become more violent and dangerous to all of us specially to children .Television on us specially on children now a days have an effect while watching all these violence and movies. I believed we need a censored and Edith before we show to the public all these news. because kids can grasp and learn all these violence.
We also need the parents guidance and see that our kids are aware of whats s going to our surrounding now a days. . We need to listen to our kids if any problem , even in school and get a counselling right away and don't wait till something happen to your place. I believe now a days our Immigration will be sending another guidance specially to those foreign student studying in United States.
I like Chico or Butte county because we have a curfew hours that our law enforcement check point cars not only on holidays but almost every night and background check so they will know who you are and what are you doing outside at those hours hanging early morning in the street.
Usually law enforcement watch students and any drivers in the street after 12:00 midnight
another incidents are video games which plays a big role to our youngster now a days also the students most of them go to computer and play all those video games as I have observe. and I guess the parents should not spoiled there kids in giving those high tech expensive gifts.
If you know a friend or classmates who needs help don't ignore try to help them or refer to a councilor or any law enforcement if they need counseling.

If you have an animal in the world what would you have? and why?

Journal #23. As for me I love to have a cat which I got one at home, I call him HORACIO ,he is a mix with a tiger and ,with a spotted black fur and white and, with beautiful two pair of eyes very clean and he smell good where I use face towel everyday cleaning on him I feed him every 4 hours with water and cuddle everyday , bring him outside, twice or three times a day. this cat is so lovely to be my companion, as I loved to be with him everyday if I can than any other friends around he stayed in my bed and he waited in my kitchen window or at the door and greeted me a sound meow... he got a vaccine and always have a follow up check up though its expensive I try to make him healthy all the time and of course he had been sterilized so he will not play with other lady cat around..
Horacio has been with me for three years and I wish he will never get sick because I worried too much and don't know what to do if he is not around. thee best companion I ever had I believe we need to take care of our pets like our selves because we treated them like our companion in our daily lives If I go out of town and left him in the veterinarian place I tried to call the place and check on him and I would rather I get sick than my pet Horacio.

What are you most afraid of? What do you do to deal with this fear?

The most I am afraid of was the global warming and when how I can deal with this fear.
Yes, I am afraid of some global warming and what type of this world situation we will have Its just a human technology I guess because a lot of people in the world can do so much that the power of God was sometimes ignored, As a Catholic and I know I am practicing my religion I am ready for what ever will happen but at times this fear just came in and will what I am dealing now is that this fear can be overcome by just letting it go and whatever God will do I am willing to accept it and we must be prepared every time doing a lot of good things to our friends and feel sorry for those who never practice any religion . As for my case I always tells my friends to be good and try to do more good because we only survived once and we borrowed this life to God and I will challenge someone who never believed in God. Whether we are at work always make use of your knowledge whatever God gave us and share with other people who are not gifted to know this knowledge. Like for example we are diagnosed with terminal cancer which are incurable and no sign and symptoms you don't have pain or any symptoms that you will think we are healthy person till the last stage the pain will come and whether we don't like it we need to accept what God has given us. remember we borrowed this life to him and we need to use this in good ways to our friends and everyone in this world.

What do you like most about the town where you live What would you change about it?

Journal 20: I like Butte County most of the places we have been like Sacramento , Rocklin, Oakland are all crazy drivers, we got more crazy ones here too but we have a check point on and off special a curfew at 10:00pm here IN the Chico Area, specially juveniles I know a lot of students does not like the idea but these is how America is made now, the boarders are a lot problem according to our government, I can't believe it because when I started coming in United States I thought most people are all legal here and when I went to LA for two weeks I can't stand the sirens killing, gangs etc name it. but because the population growth its all over the world we need to be honest that if you are not entitle to those benefit don't cheat the government bu making thousands of DMV licenses and thousands of social security I waited eighteen years for my green cards and no expiring date then I waited nineteen years to get my American Citizens and because I cannot afford to pay the $400.00 for the application I waived it and honestly within five months I got my American citizens and trying to study my English and American culture slowly and by doing a lot of Volunteer and donating little of my money to some organization in the community. Its a nice feeling knowing you can do something for America and helping the community .its what you can do for America, and I am proud to be an American Citizen. now.

What three things would you take with you to a sesserted Island and Why?

Journal 19. I never been to a deserted Island and I believed I would take some important underwear's ,face towels, water and my passport as a citizen and some candle or flashlights, matches and dried foods because they are like in a way that you can eat that are perishable and water of course if you got a cell phone I would bring it with me and mostly light and some plastics math that I can lay down It must be hard for me as an old women to be in a deserted place and I would like to have my cell phone where I can communicate with the 911 and them them that I am still alive and will described the place I have been through Imagine without no shelter your in the deserted Island hope I can survived as long as No animals or lions or a strange animals I will be fine I can climb the coconut tree and will survived with the water of the coconut, and maybe it will not happen to me because I am so careful that wherever I go I always have a diary and the happening on that day I can always tell the people that its in my own decision why I wanted to go to those places and soothe community will not be worried of where my whereabouts. I can only survived on how hot the place and if I still have so,me stocks of foods and see to it I can communicate with the law enforcement where I am located at.

Described your Volunteer

Journal 18, My volunteer in the community, I have been a long volunteer in the Hospital almost nine years now. and I do different types of papers and confidential works, and I have enjoyed being a community volunteer. I did a lot of Medical records, filling, scanning patients records, , discharging baby and mothers charts, keeping track of the surgery schedule as they called it Passport department, here I registered patients , make copies of their insurances, and explain procedures and the other confidential data.
I do check all the charts from the floors and file the chart in order see that the doctors have signed all the charts before the coroner's office will file or sue the doctors etc.
I do some new badges for the new applicants in the human resources, and other filing work in the Hospital and check the tubes in the admitting if there are checks I give them and other papers to the supervisors and other papers in the lab request works
Not only hospital volunteer, I do some law enforcement clerical work for the office and shred papers not needed in the court . I try to organize the papers mostly of the existing cases and give them to supervisor mostly I do filing with the records department. I enjoyed doing this since 1995 and I had some volunteers that really help the community I am pleased that other volunteers devote their time to help America be a peaceful place to live in.
